London is the most Googled city in the world for its arts and culture (London & Partners) and encouragingly even for the hotels outside London, revenue per available room (RevPAR) grew by 6.3% in 2015, with a further growth of 4.2% forecast for this year according to PwC.

In this 8th edition of Knowledge Bomb, we look at the hospitality industry and uncover stand-out approaches hotels have taken to stay front of mind of their wandering traveller audience. Much has already been said about the disruptive influence of Airbnb and other younger players in this space, so we’ve focussed on the marketing reactions from the old guard to understand how they’re adapting to the experience-seeking Millennials.
